President Kh.Battulga meets newly appointed UN Resident Coordinator

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. Newly appointed UN Resident Coordinator in Mongolia Tapan Mishra paid a courtesy call on President Kh.Battulga yesterday.
Expressing appreciations to the United Nations for its continued support to Mongolia’s development policy, the President said that Mongolia could be a model in implementing the Sustainable Development Goals and lead in many sectors. The sides exchanged views in detail on the matters.
Mr. Tapan appraised Mongolia’s report of its Voluntary National Review on SDGs implementation at the United Nations High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development and pledged to work to reflect some issues in the document of cooperation priorities.
At the meeting, the sides exchanged views on certain matters including air pollution and drug. Mr. Tapan expressed commitment to work actively within the framework of matters discussed to make achievements.
