Consultative Meeting between Foreign Ministries of Mongolia and Vietnam held

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs B.Battsetseg is paying a working visit to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam on August 28-30. Within the framework of the visit, regular consultative meeting between the Foreign Ministries of Mongolia and Vietnam was held on August 29.  


During the meeting, the sides talked over deepening friendly ties between Mongolia and Vietnam, strengthening political talks and mutual understanding, broadening cooperation scope in trade, investment, economic and other fields as well as elevating bilateral relations to the next level.  


The sides expressed their delight that bilateral reciprocal visits and talks have been regularizing at high level and exchanged views on visits and events to be implemented in the second half of this year.

 

Underlining that Mongolia considers the Socialist Republic of Vietnam as one of its main partners in Southeast Asia and has been giving significance to deepening relations, Deputy Minister B.Battsetseg emphasized the importance of mutually promoting their history and culture to strengthen people’s friendship of the two countries, supporting education exchange and expanding cooperation between localities.  


In conjunction with expansion of people-to-people exchanges of the two countries, the first consultative meeting between Consulate Generals’ took place on August 28. They appraised the meeting and agreed to regularize the meeting.  


Moreover, the sides exchanged information and views on keeping frequency of political consultative meeting between the Foreign Ministries of the two countries and expanding cooperation within the UN, international and regional organizations.
