President receives Minister of Public Security of Vietnam
SocietyUlaanbaatar /MONSTAME/ President of Mongolia Kh.Battulga met with Minister of Public Security of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam General To
Lam, who is paying a visit to Mongolia until July 12.
At the beginning of the
meeting, Mr. To Lam noted that initialing the Mongolia-Vietnam
intergovernmental agreement on convict exchange and other important documents
between the two countries forms the basis of further expansion of bilateral
cooperation.
Saying he has been
respectful and contented with bilateral relations at all levels since the establishment
of friendly relations of Mongolia and Vietnam, the Minister of Public Security
expressed his pleasure with the extensive celebration of the 70th anniversary
of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the countries.
Warmly welcoming the
Minister, President Kh.Battulga considered his visit has played an important
role in bilateral relations and cooperation. The President then invited Mr. To
Lam to enjoy the Naadam festival as his knowledge about Mongolians from the
festival will have positive effect on bilateral cooperation.
Mr. To Lam said it is very fortunate that his visit is taking place during Naadam and extended greetings on behalf of the state officials of his country.
