Mongolia and Kazakhstan hold 9th consular consultative meeting

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. The Ninth Consular Consultative Meeting between Foreign Affairs Ministries of Mongolia and the Republic of Kazakhstan was held on June 4 in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan.The meeting was co-chaired by heads of Consular Departments of the foreign ministries of the two countries.
During the meeting, the sides reviewed the outcomes of follow-up actions of previous consultative meeting and discussed the matters regarding current state of Mongolia-Kazakhstan’s consular relations and protection of interest of the citizens. They concurred to develop cooperation between the ministries of justice and home affairs of the two countries and establish cooperation between police agencies in combating drug.
In addition, the sides
exchanged views on forwarding the issues on amending the bilateral agreement concerning
mutual legal assistance signed by the two countries and on establishing social
welfare agreement.
