Winners of painting competition ‘Friendship between Mongolia and China through our eyes’ announced

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Winners of a painting competition ‘Friendship between Mongolia and China through our eyes’, that was organized among Chinese language schools by Menggu Xiao xi bao’ newspaper by the MONTSAME national news agency, have received their awards.


Award presenting ceremony of the competition, which was held in April on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic ties between Mongolia and China and the 90th anniversary of the newspaper, took place today at press center of the MONTSAME agency.


In aims of encouraging artistic sense and drawing skills of the students, revealing how children see friendship between the two countries, increasing their engagement in it and making contribution to the promotion of Mongolia, the competition was held with support of the Embassy of China in Mongolia and Chinese Cultural Center in Ulaanbaatar.


Ambassador of China to Mongolia Xing Hai Ming said this year marks the 70th anniversary of diplomatic ties between the two countries, 25th anniversary of signing the Treaty on Friendly Relations and Cooperation and the 5th anniversary of establishment of Mongolia-China strategic partnership relations. I hope that bilateral relations and cooperation will intensively develop in all sectors in wider scope through the various events being organized on the occasion of the anniversaries.

 

Out of 120 works sent by students from schools including Ui Tsai, Nairamdal, Darkhan Tsaihun, Khishig and the 23rd secondary schools, best works were selected in categories of 1st-2nd graders, 3rd-5th graders and 6th-8th graders.  

First grader of Ui Tsai school G.Undraa won the first place in a category of 1st-2nd graders while second grader of the school L.Anar took the second place and first grader of Khishig school L.Urangoo the third place.


Third grader of Nairamdal school U.Gunsar was selected as the best in a category of 3rd-5th graders and fourth grader of Ui Tsai school M.Gereltekh in the second place and fifth grader of the school E.Munkhjin in the third place.


In a category of 6-8 graders, seventh grader of Khishig school D.Bulgan won the first place, sixth grader of the 23rd school U.Maral the second place and sixth grader of Ui Tsai school B.Egshiglen, the third place.
