Ambassador of the Republic of Poland presents his letter of credence

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. The newly-appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Poland to Mongolia, Mr. Krzysztof Bojko, presented his letter of credence to President of Mongolia Khaltmaagiin Battulga on May 28.
President Battulga received
Mr. Bojko in this regard and congratulated him on the appointment, while
wishing success in his new duty.
President Battulga
appreciated the active developments in the traditional, friendly relations
between Mongolia and Poland in recent years and expressed interest in
broadening relations in the spheres of arts, culture, and sports.
At present, over a thousand
Mongolians reside and work in Poland. President Battulga spoke about the
success of Mongolian doctors practicing traditional medicine in Poland and
discussed with the ambassador matters pertaining to their certification and
social protection.
The sides also touched upon
cooperation in agriculture and discussed about the possibilities of advancing
bilateral economic cooperation with introduction of agricultural technology and
equipment from Poland to Mongolia and opening a new channel of trade and
business between the people and entities from Mongolia and Poland.
The sides also agreed that a
permanent mission of Poland would play an important role in intensifying
bilateral cooperation and discussed the matter of opening of a Polish Embassy
in Ulaanbaatar.
