Taipei Representative Office donates over 100 hospital beds to hospital in Khovd aimag

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. The Taipei Trade and Economic Representative Office in Ulaanbaatar donated over 100 hospital beds and medical equipment to the Regional Diagnostic and Treatment Center and hospitals of some soums in Khovd aimag. Of the 109 hand operated hospital beds and 20 stretchers, most of which were allocated to the hospital of Bulgan soum.
The governor of Bulgan soum and the executives of the hospital said, “We will use the beds donated from Taiwan in the hospital, which was recently put into operation in the soum. It does not only makes it more comfortable for the patients, but also a favorable environment for the doctors and staff. Our soum is grateful for the donation.”
Representative of the Taipei Trade and Economic Representative Office in Ulaanbaatar Huang Kuo-Jung expressed his gratefulness to the Mongolian Red Cross Society for giving assistance in issues with customs as well as MP O.Batnasan for covering the domestic transport costs, bringing the beds to the people in need.
