Bilateral cooperation in defense sector discussed

A.Ganbat, chief of the General Staff of Mongolian Armed Forces, met with
Chinese Ambassador Xing Haiming on April 11.
Emphasizing that this year marks the 70th anniversary of Mongolia-China
diplomatic relations, the sides noted that bilateral relations and
cooperation in defense sector are contributing to the development of comprehensive
strategic partnership relations of the two countries.

Xing Haiming said that bilateral cooperation in defense sector is developing in
all levels; for instance, organizing joint military exercises, consultative
meeting between defense ministries and training of military personnel. They also
exchanged views on strengthening traditional relations and expanding with new
content.
