Foreign Minister pays courtesy call on Chinese Vice President

Foreign Affairs Minister of Mongolia D.Tsogtbaatar is paying an official visit
to the People’s Republic of China between March 31 and April 2 at the
invitation of his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi.
Within
the official visit, Foreign Minister D.Tsogtbaatar paid a courtesy call on Wang
Qishan, Vice President of the People’s Republic of China, today, April 1.
At the
meeting, the sides exchanged views on the
matters, including development of Mongolia-China comprehensive strategic
relationship and cooperation, joint celebration of 70th anniversary
of diplomatic relations between two countries, which is occurring this year, and
25th anniversary of the establishment of Renewed Treaty on Friendly
Relations and Cooperation, as well as bilateral cooperation within the regional
integration.
Giving high importance to
the visit, Mr. Wang Qishan expressed his pleasure for meeting with the delegates
and requested to convey his warm greetings to Mongolia’s President and Prime
Minister.
In a scope of the visit, a special
event for Mongolian delegates was hosted by China’s State Councilor and Foreign
Affairs Minister Wang Yi in the Palace Museum.
