UN flood resilience project to be implemented in Bayanzurkh district

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. In partnership with the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat), the Governor’s Office of Bayanzurkh district of the capital city is implementing a project to improve flood resilience of the ger districts in Ulaanbaatar. In the frameworks of the project, the adaptive capacity of climate change and flood resilience are to be enhanced for flood risk areas in seven khoroos of Ulaanbaatar. 


A seminar was organized for the planning of the project implementation at khoroo no.9 of the district.Head of the District Governor’s Office B.Amartuvshin, Program Manager of UN-Habitat Sh.Enkhtsetseg as well as other corresponding officials attended the seminar.
