L.Unubold wins gold at IJF Grand Slam

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/ Mongolia’s judoka L.Unubold /60 kg/ won a gold medal at IJF Grand Slam-Ekaterinburg-2019, held in Ekaterinburg, Russia on March 15-17.


The Grand Slam brought together 353 judokas of 47 countries, including 20 judokas of Mongolia.

On March 15, the first day of the Grand Slam, six judokas from Mongolian team wrestled, resulted in L.Unubold’s winning of gold medal in the 60kg category.

Previously, L.Unubold won a bronze medal at World U21 Championships in 2017 and bronze medals at National Judo Championships for consecutively two years.
