Asiana Airlines to operate on Seoul-Ulaanbaatar route

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport of the Republic of Korea announced on February 25 that the second full service carrier for the Seoul-Ulaanbaatar route will be Asiana Airlines, one of the two major carriers of the country.
The airline will operate three weekly flights from Seoul to Ulaanbaatar increasing the flight frequency from six to nine. Moreover, Air Busan, a subsidiary of Asiana Airlines, was given the right to operate on the Busan-Ulaanbaatar route.
The airlines should be able to commence flight services around March 31 if they are able to make the necessary arrangements, said the Ministry.
