Foreign Minister meets Secretary General of Community of Democracies

Minister of Foreign Affairs D.Tsogtbaatar received Secretary General of the Community of
Democracies Thomas E. Garret at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on February 25.
During the
meeting, the Minister noted Mongolia’s participation and close cooperation with
CoD as an active member state of the organization. Minister D.Tsogtbaatar informed about achievements
of Mongolia’s democracy and its challenges and expressed its willingness to
strengthen the democracy.
Mr. Garret briefed about activities being realized within the CoD and highly praised Mongolia’s contribution. He also said that the CoD intends to organize the CoD Ministerial Conference in Bucharest in 2020 on occasion of its 20th anniversary.
