Para-taekwondo athletes qualify for Olympics
SportsUlaanbaatar/MONTSAME/ Two para-taekwondo athletes of Mongolia competed in the 2019 World Para Taekwondo Championships, held in Antalya, Turkey on February 5-6, resulting in their qualifications for Tokyo-2020 Olympics.
More than 400 athletes from 69 countries participated in the championships, in which G.Bolor-Erdene won a gold medal in men's k44-61kg event. It is the 4th gold that he has claimed from the world championships. He is also a three-time winner of Asian Para Taekwondo Championships.
In women's k44-49kg category, Mongolian taekwondo athlete Kh.Enkhtuya grabbed a gold medal.
