Development Center for Children with Disabilities handed overVideo
A ceremony for handing over the newly built 250-bed Development Center for Children with Disabilities to Mongolia was held on January 24.
The ceremony was attended by Minister of Labor and Social Protection Mr S.Chinzorig, Ambassador of China to Mongolia Mr Xing Haiming, Chief of Staff of Office of the President Mr Z.Enkhbold, some members of parliament and other relevant officials of the two countries.
The center was built with Chinese non-refundable aid of USD 30 million on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and China, which falls this year.
The 14 990 square meter center will provide rehabilitation treatments for 500 patients. The development center is equipped with a swimming pool and each room has a shower and a toilet for disabled children.
During the ceremony, Minister of Labor and Social Protection Mr S.Chinzorig received the memorial key from Ambassador Mr Xing Haiming.
