Ambulances with distance diagnosis and treatment delivered to five aimags
SocietyUlaanbaatar/MONTSAME/ On January 14, ambulances equipped
with distance diagnosis and treatment system were delivered to five aimags:
Bulgan, Khuvsgul, Sukhbaatar, Uvs and Uvurkhangai, within the project on
establishing national diagnosis and treatment center(MOH-8) being implemented under
the soft loan agreement between Mongolia and the Republic of Korea.
The ambulances are equipped with laptop, urine analyzer, blood glucose meters, electronic stethoscope as well as other necessary devices.
Also it is available to transfer information about health state and examination
results of the patient directly from the site to the specialized hospitals and
national diagnostic and treatment centers in Ulaanbaatar city.
The officials note that citizens of the above mentioned aimags who live in rural and remote settlements are now accessible
to medical service through distance diagnostic and treatment system.
