Mongolian team win 10 medals in Zhautykov Olympiad

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A Mongolian team is competing successfully at the 15th annual International Zhautykov Olympiad in Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science, being held in Almaty, Kazakhstan on January 9-15.


The team of 28 students and 8 teachers of School No.1 of Ulaanbaatar, Erkhet Erdem School and Bayankhongor aimag’s Algorith School has so far collected a total of ten medals. Specifically, they grabbed one silver medal in teachers’ contest; three gold, one silver and three bronze in mathematics; one silver in physics; and one bronze in computer science.


Some 18 countries including Russia and the US are taking part in the Olympiad.
