Minister D.Sarangerel meets Ambassador of Australia John Langtry

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Minister of Health D.Sarangerel received Ambassador of Australia to Mongolia John Langtry on January 9 regarding with completion of his tenure.
Underlining that all the works agreed by two sides have been completed successfully, the Minister expressed her gratitude to Mr. John Langtry on his efforts made in putting these initiatives and activities into action.
Afterwards, Ambassador John Langtry mentioned successes made in medical cooperation of two countries and fulfilled actions and emphasized importance of attendance and leadership of the Ministry of Health especially to bring considerable achievements in human papillomavirus vaccination. Moreover, he highlighted significance of Integrated Support Program for Women and Young People’s Health in Umnugobi being jointly implemented by UNICEF, WHO, the Government of Australia and Oyu Tolgoi LLC for ensuring integrity of medical sector in the aimag and its conformity and coordination and improving medical assistance and services.
The sides also discussed about other initiatives on developing cooperation.
