‘Mongolian Ger’ named as Best Documentary

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ ‘Mongolian Ger’ documentary directed by B.Unurtogtokh was named as the Best Documentary at an annual International Documentary Film Festival held in South Korea which involved documentaries from over 130 countries.


The jury of the documentary festival included executives and professionals of influential film companies of Asia and the world, who later said watching ‘Mogngolian Ger’ felt as if they were in the wild and beautiful country of Mongolia.  


The documentary that was shot in Khuvsgul aimag for four seasons shows life, livelihood and nomadic culture of Mongolians through their traditional dwelling, Mongolian ger.
