Mongolian ambassador meets scholars

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Republic of Kazakhstan L.Battulga had a meeting with the President of the International Turkic Academy (ITA) Darkhan Kydyrali.

During the meeting, the ambassador expressed his satisfaction with the close partnership between the ITA and cultural, educational and scientific organizations of Mongolia and showing great results. He then noted the successful archaeological excavation and research at the Shiveet Ulaan memorial complex at Bayan-Agt soum of Bulgan aimag as well as the middle age memorial complex at Delgerkhaan soum of Khentii aimag.

The two sides highlighted the more opportunities for further development in the relations between the two countries when the Mongolian Foreign Minister D.Tsogtbaatar makes his official visit to Kazakhstan.


President of the ITA Darkhan Kydyrali noted the previously done joint scientific research works are reliable sources for further research and sincerely thanked the Embassy of Mongolia in Kazakhstan for supporting research.

The ambassador also get acquainted with the series of books on Mongolian studies that are published by the ITA, such as the five-volumes of Rashid Al-din’s ‘Compendium of Chronicles’ that was translated to Kazakh from Persian, ‘Turar Ryskulov’s Service in Mongolia’, ‘Shiveet Ulaan Memorial Complex’ and D.Kydyrali’s ‘Origins of Nomadic Tribes’.  

The First Secretary of the Embassy of Mongolia in Kazakhstan Ch.Amarbold also attended the meeting.
