U.Duurenbayar wins bronze medal at World Judo Championships

silver medalist IM U.Duurenbayar claimed a bronze medal in the men’s heaviest
weight class (+100 kg) of the 2018 World Judo Championships.
He defeated Pedro Pineda of Venezuela in his first match, Andy
Granda of Cuba in the eighth-final and Olympic silver medalist and 2017 World
Champion Hisayoshi Harasawa in the quarterfinal.
Thus, U.Duurenbayar claimed a bronze medal after losing to Guram Tushishvili of Georgia, becoming the second Mongolian judoka who grabbed bronze medal in the heaviest weight class.
