Mongolia to share experience with DPRK on development of basketball

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Delegates led by MP S.Erdene paid a working visit to Pyongyang on September 8-11 at the invitation of the Workers’ Party of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK).
The delegates held an official meeting with Kim Yong-nam, President of the Presidium of the Supreme People’s Assembly of DPRK and Pak Tae Song, Vice Chairman of the Workers’ Party on historic bilateral ties and further cooperation.

During the visit, a Memorandum of Cooperation on developing and sharing mutual experiences on basketball was signed with Ri Yong-ho, DPRK Foreign Minister and President of Basketball Association.
The delegates attended official ceremonial events for the 70th historic anniversary of establishment of the DPRK and visited the Embassy of Mongolia in DPRK, other state administrative organizations and memorial places of historic bilateral relations.
