Salary of doctors and teachers to be raised by 8 percent, nurses by 12-30 percent

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ At its regular meeting on August 22, the Cabinet decided to raise the salary of civil servants who have lower and/or equal salaries to teachers and doctors by 8 percent.
 
However, the Cabinet decided to increase wages of nurses by 12-30 percent. Minister of Health D.Sarangerel said, "Doctors’ salary scale will be changed through phases. The Cabinet resolved to increase the salary further in correspondence with the inflation rate."   
 
The decision will come into effect from September 1.
