Minister D.Sarangerel receives Japanese delegates

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On July 31, Health Minister D.Sarangerel received delegation led by Yasuhisa Shiozaki, Member of the House of Representatives and Mongolia-Japan Parliamentary Friendship Group consultant.  
 
Cooperation and relations of the two countries in health sector has been developing since 1990, implementing many projects and programs mentioned Minister D.Sarangerel and highlighted that Japanese assistance and technical cooperation projects and programs have been making substantial contribution to the development of Mongolia’s health sector, improving medical service, empowering doctors and specialists as well as learning from best practices.
 
Mınistries of Health of the two countries established a Memorandum of Cooperation in April, 2018 which comfirmed legal basis of bilateral relations and cooperation in health sector and the Minister expressed her confidence that Hospital of the National University of Medical Sciences being erected with non-refundable aid of MNT 170 billion from the Government of Japan will become a symbol of friendship of the two countries. 
 
Mr.Ya.Shiozaki officially informed that Japanese side is to hand over 10 ambulances to Mongolia according to a request made last April.
 
During the meeting, the parties talked about current state of social and economic situation of the countries, pressing issues in health sector, policies, actions and activities.
