Mongolia cooperating with Kyrgyz Republic in disaster prevention

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Major-General T.Badral, Head of the National Emergency Management Agency met with Mambetov Azamat Muratovich, State Secretary of the Emergency Situations Ministry of the Kyrgyz Republic.
By signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Cooperation in disaster prevention between the Agency and the Ministry in 2016, the two organizations laid foundation of cooperation. At today’s meeting, the parties signed 2018-2020 action plan on implementation of the MoU.
Major-General T.Badral expressed his gratitude to International Civil Defense Organization on inviting NEMA’s four lifeguards to the training for water lifeguards to be held at the end of July in Cholpon Ata city of the Kyrgyz Republic.
