PM receives Inner Mongolian delegation

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Prime Minister of Mongolia U.Khurelsukh received a delegation led by Li Jiheng, Secretary of Party Committee of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and Director of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress.

PM emphasized that a comprehensive strategic partnership and cooperation between Mongolia and China have been developed and many projects and activities agreed upon during mutual high-level visits are being implemented. In April, PM U.Khurelsukh visited China at the invitation of Premier of the State Council of China Li Keqiang and attended Boao Forum for Asia.

PM also conveyed his pleasure at expansion of trade and economic cooperation between Mongolia and China, especially the Inner Mongolia and mentioned that close cooperation should be developed with the Inner Mongolia to achieve the goal of bringing bilateral trade turnover to USD 10 billion by 2020.  

Then he expresfsed Mongolia's interest to cooperate actively in agriculture and environmental protection sectors, increase export of meat and meat products, study and introduce Inner Mongolia’s experience in combating desertification and he also remarked the progress in border cooperation following the meeting in Bayannuur. 

Mr Li Jiheng noted Inner Mongolia plays significant role in the relations and cooperation between Mongolia and China and expressed his willingness to expand relations and cooperation between the entities and SMEs in the spheres of culture, humanity, education, health and science. He also affirmed its readiness to cooperate in  spheres of border checkpoints, free zones and tourism.
