Permanent Delegate to UNESCO presents credentials

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Ambassador and Permanent Delegate of Mongolia to the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) A.Battur presented credentials on July 3, to the UNESCO Director-General Audrey Azoulay and exchanged views on relations and cooperation between Mongolia and UNESCO.

They talked on expanding bilateral cooperation in the spheres of education, culture, science and protecting tangible and intangible cultural heritage according to the Memorandum of Cooperation between the Government of Mongolia and the UNESCO in 2017-2020.

The Director-General expressed willingness to support the development of Mongolia’s education sector master plan and involving Mongolia in training programs to improve rural soums’ access to education.
