Mongolian Basketball players competed for semi-final of the FIBA 3x3 World Cup

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Mongolian basketball players were selected in top 8 of the FIBA 3x3 World Cup, being held in Manila, Philippines.
Yesterday, 8 teams to compete in the quarter-final were selected from the top 20 teams of the men’s category. Even though Mongolian National team lost to Canada, they made their way through the section in the second place after winning the Philippines, Russia and Brazil. However today Mongolian team has been defeated to the three-time world champion Serbian team.
Teams from Mongolia, Serbia, Latvia, Slovenia, Canada, Poland, Ukraine and the Netherlands were selected in the quarter-final of the FIBA 3x3 World Cup. Only Mongolian team was left from Asia. Mongolian team consists of E.Tserenbaatar, G.Tsenguunbayar, E.Dulguun, D.Delernyam and the coach S.Tulga. The World Cup in Manila will end today.
