Preparation for 'Gobi Wolf' intern'l exercise underway

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The National Emergency Management Agency is making preparations for the ‘Gobi Wolf’ international exercise to be organized in collaboration with the Embassy of the United States in Mongolia and the United States Pacific Command on May 28 to June 8 in Khovd aimag.
As a part of the preparation, a classroom training titled ‘Training Teachers for Search-and-Rescue Operations’ started today. The training involves some 80 staffs from Emergency Management Departments of the Capital City and Khovd, Zavkhan, Bayan-Ulgii, Uvs and Gobi-Altai proivnces.
Trainers of the United States Pacific Command are conducting the training, teaching and sharing their experiences on mountain and water search-and-rescue operations as well as operation in small space and in ruins.
