Order of the Rising Sun to be conferred to R.Jigjid and D.Tumurtogoo

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Government of Japan announced the 2018 Spring Conferment of Decoration on Foreign Nationals on April 29. According to the Embassy of Japan in Mongolia, former Mining Minister R.Jigjid and the Honorary President of International Association for Mongol studies D.Tumurtogoo will receive the order.
 
The Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Star will be conferred to R.Jigjid for his contribution to promoting friendly relations and mutual understanding between Japan and Mongolia. He is former Ambassador of Mongolia to Japan, former Minister of Mining, former President of JUGAMO Association and currently he is a Vice President of Mongolia Japan Partnership Association.
 
The Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Neck Ribbon will be conferred to D.Tummurtogoo for his contribution to promoting Mongolian language education in Japan and academic exchanges between Japan and Mongolia. D.Tummurtogoo is a former Vice President of Mongolian National University of Education, former President of Mongolian Research Center, National University of Mongolia, former President of Research Institute for Linguistics, Mongolian Academy of Sciences and now is a consultant and Honorary President at the International Association for Mongol studies.
