Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ "Mongolia is paying special attention on expanding regional and crossborder cooperation of the two countries. I consider that the cooperation will become main factor of trade and economic relations between Mongolia and Russia in future," Prime Minister U.Khurelsukh highlighted in the beginning of the meeting with Yu.P.Trutnev, Deputy Prime Minister of Russia and Presidential Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District on April 26.

During the Prime Ministerial official visit to China in April, Chinese part affirmed its readiness to implement Trilateral Economic Corridor Program. "First of all Mongolia has willingness to implement three projects out of the 32 projects of the program. Namely, renovation project of Ulaanbaatar Railway, AH3 Asian road project and an energy project which will be co-realized by Mongolia and Russia with Chinese financing. The energy project will be mutually beneficial to the cooperation of the two countries. Therefore I hope that Russian part will support it," he said.
The two sides agreed that there is much potential to deepen trade and economic ties between Mongolia and Russia through broadening relationships and cooperation with the Far East region of Russia.
