Testing flights at Khushig Valley airport underway

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Testing flights to examine flight rules started on April 25 at Khushig Valley International Airport of Ulaanbaatar. The testing flights are being conducted with ‘Boing-737’ aircraft owned by MIAT Mongolian Airlines.
The first testing flights to check air navigation equipment in the airport were carried out in December, 2017 and this time standard routes for aircraft landing and taking off at the airport are being tested.
The flight rules were formulated by the Civil Aviation Authority and all fields' experts of civil aviation are making preparations to ensure the safety operation.
The testing flight will continue with night flight examination on April 29.
