Handball coaches receive international coaching certificates

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ An international coaching course was held for handball coaches in Ulaanbaatar on April 9-15, co-organized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the International Handball Federation (IHF), the Mongolian National Olympic Committee (MNOC) and the Mongolian Handball Federation (MHF).
The course brought together 40 coaches from Arkhangai, Bayankhongor, Bulgan, Gobi-Altai, Darkhan-Uul, Dornod, Sainshand and Zamyn-Uud soums of Dornogobi, Zavkhan, Selenge, Sukhbaatar aimags and Ulaanbaatar.
President of the East Asian Handball Federation and trainer of the IHF Dr. Chung Hyung-Kyun, and National expert Dr. D.Jargalsaikhan conducted the course. At the end of the training, a participation diploma of the IOC and international C level coaching certificate was handed over to the participated coaches.
The MNOC highly valued Mr. Hyung Kyun Chung’s effort and awarded him ‘Olympic Glory’ medal of the MNOC. The first international handball coach course was organized in Mongolia in 2003.
