‘Mongol Post’ JSC renders transit postal service between three countries

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The ‘Mongol Post’ JSC organized a transportation of transit postage in cooperation with the Russian national postal operator ‘Russian Post’ and Ulaanbaatar Railway JSC on April 10, 2018.
Under the Mongolia-Russia-China Economic Corridor Program the ‘Mongol Post’ JSC has been transiting the online goods and parcels from China to Russia and Europe through the territory of Mongolia since 2016. Economic relations and cooperation between China, Russia and European countries have improved over the last few years, increasing the online shoppings.
It is planned to regularly increase the transit postage through Mongolia and send it by postage wagons following the railway schedule. Freight turnover of Ulaanbaatar Railway JSC will be increased as a result of the transit and Mongolia will gain benefits based on its geographical location lying between the two big countries.
