At the meeting, President noted that the two countries mutually express their interest to cooperate in defense and security, logistics and military medicine. He also mentioned that the two sides are working to establish an agreement on exchange of prisoners.
The President expressed its readiness to to assist Mongolia to establish ties with ASEAN countries.
Mr. A.Gansukh informed President Quang on the outcomes of his talks with Minister of Public Security To Lam, affirming that Mongolia expects to enhance cooperation with Vietnam in fields of national security. He said that Mongolia hopes to boost its economic and trade ties with Vietnam to bring the bilateral ties to a new level.
At the end of the meeting, he handed the invitation of President Kh.Battulga to President Tran Dai Quang to visit Mongolia. President Quang accepted the invitation and invited President of Mongolia to pay an official visit to Vietnam.
