Deputy Minister B.Battsetseg meets Ambassadors of Cote d’Ivoire and Nigeria

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On April 2, Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister B.Battsetseg received Non-resident Ambassador of the Republic of Cote d’Ivoire to Mongolia Dosso Adama in conjunction with presenting his credentials. The parties exchanged views on bilateral relations and cooperation.

Mongolia and the Republic of Cote d’Ivoire have over 30 years of diplomatic relations and both countries have potential to develop mutually beneficial relations. I am confident that you will focus attention on widening  bilateral relations not only in politic and economic spheres but also in other sectors, said the Deputy Minister.

Ambassador Dosso Adama said he will work to increase trade and investment and conduct high-level visits, setting new beginning in relations between the two countries. 

The same day, Deputy Minister B.Battsetseg also met Non-resident Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to Mongolia Baba Ahmad Jidda in conjunction with presenting his credentials.

The two countries have mining and agriculture-based economy, noted the Deputy Minister expressing Mongolia's interest to develop the cooperation in these sectors.

In response, Ambassador Jidda highlighted that Nigeria, which is one of the largest producer and exporter of petroleum in the world, is open to share its experiences and he said he will focus his attention on boosting mutually beneficial cooperation.
