Secretary-General of Mongolian People's Party visits Turkey

The 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatc relations between Mongolia and Turkey will be marked in 2019. The sides agreed that economic and political relations between the two countries are significantly reviving in recent years. During the visit a memorandum of cooperation 'New Silk Road Political Dialogue' was signed between the Mongolian People's Party and Justice and Development Party of Turkey.
On April 5-8, 2018 the Prime Minister of Turkey will visit Mongolia and it is a great sign of recovery in bilateral relations.
Within the scope of the visit Mongolian delegation met with the Head of Turkey-Mongolia interparliamentary group Mehmet Erdogan, mayor of Ankara city Mustafa Tuna and Head of the Justice and Development Party committee of Ankara city Mustafa Nedim Yamali. The two parties also signed an interparty memorandum of cooperation.
