Minister of Defence receives Russian Ambassador

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Minister of Defence, Parliament Member N.Enkhbold received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia to Mongolia I.K.Azizov at his request on March 28.
Defence Minister N.Enkhbold expressed his deepest condolences for the loss of many lives in a fire in Kemerovo at the beginning of the meeting.
The parties discussed issues regarding bilateral relations, upcoming events and visits including Secretary General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Rashid Alimov’s visit, Russian First Deputy Prime Minister’s visit to Mongolia in April, Mongolian National Security Council’s visit to Russia, SCO summit to be held in Qingdao in June and some issues regarding military-technical cooperation between Russia and Mongolia.
Minister N.Enkhbold emphasized that the parties are working on implementation of the agreed and planned actions under the bilateral military and military-technical cooperation and expressed his gratitude to the Russian Ambassador and Military and Air Attache’s office at the Russian Embassy for providing constant support on those matters.
Ambassador I.K.Azizov handed over to the Defence Minister N.Enkhbold an official invitation to the ‘Army-2018’ and ‘National Security Week’ international military-technical forums to be organized by the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation.
