Women MPs attending 62nd Session of the UN Commission on the Status of Women

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Mongolian delegation headed by Member of Parliament and Chairwoman of the Standing Committee on Petition M.Oyunchimeg are attending the 62nd Session of the UN Commission on the Status of Women on March 12-23 at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.
MP M.Oyunchimeg addressed a session of the 62nd Session of the Commission on the Status of Women themed ‘Challenges and opportunities in achieving gender equality and the empowerment of rural women and girls’. In her speech, she noted that to support gender equality and empower all women and girls a special provision was included in the concept of Mongolian Sustainable Development-2030, approved by the Parliament of Mongolia in 2016.
