‘Movie with live orchestra’ to be presented

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The very first ‘Movie with live orchestra’ co-organized by SKYmedia Corporation LLC and the State Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet orchestra will be presented on March 19 at the State Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet. The last episode of season 6 of the ‘Game of Thrones’ will be presented with live symphony orchestra performance and Mongolian dubbing.
“Previously, only concert films were available for viewers. This time it will be possible to enjoy the film while experiencing the the live sound of the symphony orchestra. Solo performer of the State Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet D.Amarmend will play solo on the cello.
"We paid close attention to the composition since there was no such performance after the release of the series. Combining all the sound effects and noises with live music required a lot of skills.We also had problems with the place to perform. We cannot use a microphone so that people feel the sound of live music and the musicians need a light to see the notes, but the audience have to be in the dark to watch the movie. And the perfect place where we could solve these problems is the State Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet,” said the conductor of the ‘Movie with live orchestra’, State Philharmonic conductor, pianist B.Anar.
“Since our internet, phone, IPTV triple service was launched we have been working to provide our customers with the world’s best contents. Currently we are HBO’s largest partner in Mongolia transmitting 5 of their channels including HBO Hits, HBO Signature, HBO Family, Cinemax with official rights. The entire event will be recorded and placed in the SKYmedia movie box making it available for the people who could not attend the performance,” said Marketing deputy director of the SKYmedia Corporation LLC, B.Tsolmon.
The HBO also mentioned that this kind of event is being organized for the first time. The official representative of the HBO will be invited to this event and will share their experiences.
