Parliamentary Friendship Group established in Indian Parliament

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A Parliamentary Friendship Group of Mongolia and India has been established in Indian Parliament and during his visit to India on March 7-10, Minister of Defense N.Enkhbold attended at the first meeting of the Friendship Group.
Headed by Mr.Rattan Lal Kataria who was re-elected in the parliamentary lower house, the friendship group consists of 15 members from Rajya Sabha, the upper house of the Indian Parliament and Lok Sabha, the lower house.
At the first meeting the group members and the invited delegates of Mongolia talked over bilateral relations between the two countries, legislative bodies and the parliamentary offices and they agreed to cooperate in future. Members of the parliaments of the two countries emphasized significance of expanding economic cooperation between Mongolia and India and backing active collaboration of political parties in the parliament and public and local organizations.
