Vietnamese Embassy to connect provinces of two countries for cooperation

Orkhon /MONTSAME/ Chairman of the Citizen’s representative Khural of Orkhon aimag P.Purevdagva, Deputy Governor of Orkhon aimag S.Batjargal and Chairman of the Governor’s Office D.Soyolchkhuu met Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to Mongolia Doan Thi Huong, reported on March 7.
During the meeting, Deputy Governor S.Batjargal expressed satisfaction that friendly cooperation between Mongolia and Vietnam has been expanding from year to year. He also expressed Orkhon aimag's willingness to cooperate with Vietnam in development of small enterprises and teacher and physician exchange program.
In her turn, Ambassador Doan Thi Huong said Vietnam is interested in collaborating with Orkhon aimag on the establishment of a new manufacture. In addition, she promised that she will connect Orkhon aimag with provinces of Vietnam where health and education sector highly developed and make the first step of establishment of cooperation between them.
In 2018, the Embassy of Vietnam in Mongolia plans to establish relations between three aimags of Mongolia with four provinces of Vietnam.
This year marks the 64th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Vietnam. As of 2017, bilateral trade turnover reached over USD 40 million.
