National champions in Junior and Youth Fencing

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The 2018 National Junior and Youth Fencing Championships was successfully held on January 13-14 in the building of Ulaanbaatar Ensemble.
On the first day of the 5th National Championships winners were selected in a category of junior man’s heavy fencing sword and gold medal went to M.Yalguun, athlete from UB Fencing Club, silver to L.Aztulakh from the club and bronzes to T.Tului, from Khangarid Club, G.Sumiyabaldan from Baganuur JSC and Uurkhaichin Club.
In a category of junior women’s heavy fencing sword Kh.Enerel, athlete from Duel Fencing Club and Sor Cashmere LLC claimed gold, Ch.Nandin-Erdene from Khangarid Club won silver and G.Purevjargal and A.Delger from UB Fencing club won bronzes.
On the second day of the competition, U.Margad-Erdene, athlete from Uurkhaichin Club led the category of youth, B.Amarbold, from Khangarid Club took the second place and M.Munkgtulga from Uurkhaichin Club and A.Bat-Erdene from Khangarid Club were in the third places.
Winners M.Yalguun, L.Aztulakh and Kh.Enerel recieved certificates to particpate in a joint training in Aomori, Japan in scope of ‘Tokyo 2020’ cooperation.
