National football team moves up 18 places in FIFA rankings

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Headed by coach Michael Weiss, Mongolian national football team ranked at the 187th place, moving up 18 places in the FIFA World Rankings.  The national team was at the 205th place in 2015.
 
At FIFA Friendlies 2017 Mongolian team made match for the first time and it influenced to the ranking.  Moreover the  team competed with Kyrgyzstan and Indonesian teams at 2017 Aceh World Solidarity Tsunami Cup which was held on December 4-6 in Indonesia.

Mongolian Football Federation chose Hans Michael Weiss as a national league coach in March, 2017 in consideration of his UEFA PRO rank and his experience in working with Asian players.
