Mongolia appoints Ambassador-at-Large

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Minister of Foreign Affairs D.Tsogtbaatar has appointed an Ambassador-at-Large in charge of pulling Mongolia out of the EU blacklist of 17 'tax havens'.
While coordinating the joint efforts of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Finance, Ambassador-at-Large B.Mandakhbileg will work towards Mongolia’s joining of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development’s Global Forum on Transparency and Exchange of Information for Tax Purposes and the Multilateral Convention on Mutual Administrative Assistance in Tax Matters, and implementation of minimum standards of the Base Erosion and Profit Shifting.
B.Mandakhbileg has worked in public service for 26 years and 19 years in the diplomatic service.
