Prince of Saudi Arabia pays courtesy call on President

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ President Kh.Battulga addressed Mongolia-Saudi Arabia ties with Prince Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud.

On August 22, Prince of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Abdullah bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud paid a courtesy call on President of Mongolia Khaltmaagiin Battulga. 

In the beginning of this meeting, President of Mongolia Battulga expressed his deepest condolences for the passing of Prince’s father last July. His Highness Abdullah bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud responded with gratitude and expressed his gratefulness for sympathy of President Battulga for deepening of ties between Mongolia and Saudi Arabia. 

The honorable guest mentioned that he is paying a visit to Mongolia at the invitation from the State Great Khural and that he legged the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry and the Ministry of Mining and Heavy Industry for discussions about cooperation.

While mentioning the similarities of both nations that derive from nomadic ancestry and that a great desert called the Gobi stretches to the south of Mongolia, President Battulga underlined Mongolia has much to learn from practices of Saudi Arabia on efficient use of own natural resources and rapid growth. 

During the meeting, the dignitaries assured mutual interests in and exchanged ideas on collaborating in fields on mining and agriculture. President of Mongolia Kh.Battulga also remarked about the awaiting opportunities of investment for the projects on a new city and construction of new railroads in Mongolia.
