GEC submits final results of Presidential election to Parliament Speaker

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Ch.Sodnomtseren, Head of General Election Commission presented the "Resolution on Approving the Authority of the President of Mongolia" to Parliament Speaker M.Enkhbold on July 9.
The resolution states "Based on Law on Election's 147.1 article of 147th chapter, Law on Central Electoral Bodies' 7.4.7 article of 7th chapter and 12.3 article of 12th chapter, Khaltmaa Battulga, the candidate with the majority of 611,226 (50.61 percent) votes from 1,207,787 voters cast ballots on the second round of Presidential election of Mongolia, is considered to be elected as the President of Mongolia and hereby submit his authority to the Parliament for approval".
