Inauguration of newly appointed President scheduled on July 10

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Parliament Speaker M. Enkhbold, candidate of Mongolian People's Party, officially announced to aknowledge the results of Presidential election.
Speaker M.Enkhbold said "I, as a candidate from Mongolian People's Party, respect the choice of Mongolian people and express my gratitude for my supporters. Although MPP didn't win the Presidential election, it is important to note that the party will fulfill the Government's agenda and work to overcome the economic crisis for the well-being of Mongolian people. As the Parliament Speaker, I am planning to schedule Parliament's irregular session and appoint working team responsible for organizing the inauguration ceremony of the newly appointed President, after General Election Commission presents the election results to the Parliament. I preceive that the inauguration should take place hastily before Naadam. Therefore, the inauguration ceremony of the President is scheduled to take place at the State House on Monday, July 10. I have discussed with the current President Ts. Elbegdorj on presenting the President's seal as well. Presidential election of this year will officially end with the inauguration ceremony. Finally, I would like to wish all the people of Mongolia to have auspicious celebration of the upcoming national holiday, Naadam".
