Preliminary voter turnout 60.41 percent with 1,199,084 votes

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ According to the General Election Commission, the preliminary voter turnout is reported at 60.41 percent with 1,199,084 votes.
Also, preliminary results in the Presidential election show the candidate of Democratic Party Kh.Battulga leading with 50.7 percent /604,563 votes/ and the other candidate of Mongolian People's Party M.Enkhbold following with 41.0 percent /490,354 votes/ as of 12.30 AM, July 8. Furthermore, a number of voters cast ballot for none of the candidates (white vote) resulted in 8.3 percent with 98,808 votes.

As for the issues concerning the polling delays in Tuv Aimag, GEC reported that all voting machines are operating regularly and have fully transmitted the results.
The remaining ballots of overseas voters in European and Asian countries are expected to arrive from 6.45 AM to 10.45 AM on July 8. Therefore, the results of the second round of 2017 Presidential election is expected to finalize around afternoon on July 8, after counting the balloting papers at 12 PM.
