Ambassador B.Delgermaa presents credentials to A.Lukashenko

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The non-resident Ambassador of Mongolia to the Republic of Belarus, B.Delgermaa presented the letter of credence on December 13 to Alexander Lukashenko, the President of Belarus.

At a meeting followed the official ceremony, Belarusian leader A.Lukashenko noted “There has been an evident progress in the dialogues between Belarus and Mongolia, awakening in high-level interactions and consolidation in legal grounds of bilateral relations in the recent years, as well as an increased yield in commercial ties. Our side aspires to broaden further cooperation, especially in politics, economy and trade and humanities. We keep Mongolia close to our hearts”.

In connection with her presenting of credentials, the Ambassador, Ms Delgermaa held a meeting with the Foreign Minister of Belarus, Mr V.B.Rybakov. She expressed her satisfaction with the accomplishments made in bilateral relations in the 25 years since the establishment of diplomatic ties, and exchanged views on the high-level visits and other events planned for 2017, as well as the feasibilities for stimulating bilateral economic ties.

While mentioning that Mongolia attaches a great importance to cooperation with the Eurasian Economic Union, the Ambassador asked for support from Belarus as an EEU member state for establishing a Free Trade Agreement between Mongolia and EEU.
